Overview

In this learning unit we would like to introduce you to both Human Rights and the concept of Universal Design.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was established in 1948, but we might still not have been able to fully incorporate these rights in our national legislation. Human rights are described in detail in another learning unit, therefore we will not elaborate on Human Rights in this learning unit. We will discuss the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).
